Mexican War
The Mexican war which lasted from 1846 to 1846 was a conflict between two nations, the United States and the Centralist Republic of Mexico. This conflict occurred as a result of the Mexican Resentment over The United States annexation of Texas and border disputes. The war took place in northeastern and central Mexico which resulted in American victory. Due to the outcomes of the war, Mexico was forced to cede northern and western provinces. In result, Mexico had lost about one third of its territory which included what is now known as California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.
